Ibiza Convention Bureau strengthens Ibiza's international positioning at M&I Flagship Stockholm

The Ibiza Convention Bureau (ICB) attended M&I Flagship Stockholm, one of Europe's leading B2B networking events for the MICE industry, held from 17–20 June. Bringing together destinations, hotels, agencies and event professionals from across Europe, the event provided an ideal platform to strengthen Ibiza's visibility in key international markets.

As part of its international promotion strategy, the Ibiza Convention Bureau used the event to showcase the island's latest developments for meetings, conferences, incentive travel and corporate events, highlighting the high-quality infrastructure, professional services and unique experiences available for event organisers.

Throughout the event, the ICB team held a full programme of one-to-one meetings with European meeting planners, event agencies and corporate buyers. These personalised appointments provided an opportunity to build new relationships, strengthen existing partnerships and present Ibiza as a versatile destination capable of hosting business events of all sizes.

A key message shared during the event was Ibiza's growing appeal as a year-round MICE destination. Beyond its internationally recognised leisure offering, the island combines excellent conference facilities, premium accommodation, outstanding accessibility and authentic Mediterranean experiences that create memorable business events in every season.

Participation in international events such as M&I Flagship plays an important role in maintaining Ibiza's presence within the global meetings industry, attracting high-value events and supporting the diversification of the island's tourism economy through business travel.

This participation was made possible through the support provided by the Consell d'Eivissa, whose commitment helps strengthen Ibiza's international promotion as one of the Mediterranean's leading destinations for meetings, conferences, incentive travel and corporate events.
